Paver patios, walkways, steps and fire pits

Free EstimateFairfield County · Bethel · Danbury · Ridgefield · Newtown

A paver patio is ninety percent the part you cannot see. Pavers that sink, tilt or open up at the joints after two winters were almost always laid on too little base, and no amount of good stone on top saves it. We excavate to full depth, build and compact the base in lifts, screed the bed, cut the pattern properly at the edges and lock the perimeter — then polymeric-sand the joints so weeds and ants stay out. Patios, walkways, front steps, driveways, sitting walls and fire pits, in paver or natural stone.

Our Process

1

Design & Quote

Layout, material and pattern agreed on site, then priced in writing with the base depth stated.

2

Excavate

Dug out to full depth for the use — a driveway carries loads a patio never will and gets a deeper base.

3

Base & Screed

Processed stone laid and compacted in lifts, then a screeded bedding layer set to the finished pitch.

4

Lay & Lock

Pavers laid, edges cut on site, restraint set and the joints polymeric-sanded and compacted in.
